Privacy Policy — thornfield-reeves QuickBooks Connector

Last updated: 24 July 2026

1. Scope

This policy covers the thornfield-reeves private QuickBooks Online integration operated by Thornfield Industries.

2. What data is accessed

The application accesses accounting data (such as customers, invoices, transactions and financial reports) from a single QuickBooks Online company, using Intuit’s QuickBooks Online API under the com.intuit.quickbooks.accounting OAuth scope.

3. How data is used and stored

Data is retrieved on demand to answer queries made by the operator, who is also the owner of the QuickBooks company concerned. OAuth credentials are stored locally on the operator’s own hardware with restricted file permissions. Accounting data is processed transiently and is not retained in a separate database by the application.

4. What data is shared

No QuickBooks data is sold, rented or shared with any third party. Queries made through AI assistant tooling are processed under the operator’s own service agreements with the relevant AI provider.

5. Data subjects’ rights

The sole data controller and sole end user are the same individual. Third parties whose details appear in the accounting records (for example, customers on invoices) may contact the operator via issues on this repository with any privacy enquiry.

6. Revocation

Access can be revoked at any time via Intuit’s app management page, which invalidates the application’s tokens.
